"I'm With the Band" Rock Tour (November 17, 2024)
Join Pamela Des Barres on an intimate guided tour through 1960s Hollywood as she revisits the sites from “I’m With the Band.” As you accompany Pamela to the legendary locations from her book—the Zappa place in Laurel Canyon, Jim Morrison’s bungalow, the Whisky a Go Go, and other history-making hangouts—you’ll hear her read passages from her memoir at the very places where the action happened. While she’ll never answer the two questions she gets asked most— which lover was her best, and which was the “most blessed”— she’ll spill the juicy details on most other questions you might have about her rock ‘n’ roll past.
This event will take place on November 17, 2024. On the day of this Tour, attendees should plan to arrive at the northeast corner of Sunset and Vine by Noon PT, and meet Pamela and her awesome driver/co-host, Kip Brown, in a big white van.
